The Terrifying Plot

This double feature includes the original "Hellraiser" and its sequel "Hellbound: Hellraiser II," both based on Clive Barker's novella "The Hellbound Heart."

**Hellraiser (1987):** The story follows Larry and Julia Cotton who move into an old family home. They soon discover a mysterious puzzle box that unleashes the Cenobites, sadistic beings from another dimension. Julia's former lover, Frank, who had previously opened the box and was taken by the Cenobites, returns in a partially resurrected form, requiring human sacrifices to fully regenerate. The film is a chilling exploration of pain, pleasure, and the supernatural.

**Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988):** Picking up immediately after the events of the first film, Kirsty Cotton is admitted to a psychiatric hospital where she meets Dr. Channard, who is obsessed with the occult. Channard resurrects Julia and unleashes the Cenobites once again. Kirsty must navigate the horrors of the Cenobite realm to save her father and stop Channard's twisted plans. The sequel delves deeper into the mythology of the Cenobites and the hellish dimensions they inhabit.
